Our little corner of West Yorkshire

Don’t know much about Birkenshaw? We’re in a great spot in West Yorkshire, right in the middle of Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield and Dewsbury. We’re also conveniently located for the M62 motorway, which runs all the way to Manchester and Liverpool to the west and Hull in the opposite direction. 

Whether you’re just passing by and looking for a quick pitstop or you live in the area, there’s lots to see and do nearby before you come and visit us. From city centre attractions to local shopping centres and cinemas, we’re also on the edge of open countryside that’s great for a little walk before you pull up a chair at our pub restaurant.

 

Looking after the whole family

If you’re driving to us then you’ll find plenty of space in our car park, including several disabled spots. You’ll see our spacious beer garden on your way inside, where you can log into our free WiFi to stay connected while you’re here. 

We’re ideal for families. We have a special section for you to sit with your little ones, which is right next to our indoor play area. We can bring a high chair to you wherever you are though, including if you sit outside, while we also have a comprehensive kids’ menu to suit every taste. 

Can’t stay to eat? Why not order a takeaway. You can use our click and collect service if you’re already here or fancy a drink while you wait. Or head to Deliveroo or Just Eat if you want to order from the comfort of your sofa. 

 

Cracking carvery and proper pub food

If you are here in person, then you’ll get to feast your eyes on our carvery. Enjoy a roast seven days a week, with 14-hour slow-cooked meats, crispy roast potatoes and, of course, the high standard of Yorkshire puds that we expect in our neck of the woods. 

There are plenty of other options to choose between on our food menu, including pub classics like pies, burgers and fish and chips. Fancy something lighter? Why not go for a bap or salad. Need a vegetarian or vegan meal? We’ve got you covered. 

We’ve also got you covered if you’re a sweet tooth. Our epic dessert menu includes giant slices of cake made in our kitchen, along with an array of ice cream, puddings, pies and crumbles. Joining us for breakfast? Options include eggs Benedict, avocado and poached eggs on toast and bacon and egg muffins, as well as our all you can eat buffet.
