Handy spot for exploring Northampton

Little more than a mile from the centre of Northampton, we’re just as handy if you’re exploring town as we are if you live in Duston. Perhaps you’re walking round to us via St Crispin’s Park or Marina Park, or after a game of tennis or bowls at one of the nearby clubs. 

Maybe you’re going for a stroll around Storton’s Pits, Sixfields Reservoir or Duston Mill Meadow. Maybe you’re watching Northampton Town in action less than a mile from us, going shopping in town or visiting some of the local cultural attractions. Whatever it is, make sure you come to us hungry.

We’ve packed our food menu with all the pub classics you love. From pies, burgers and fish and chips, to Hunters Chicken and our fully loaded chicken strips, we also have a selection of starters, sharers and salads. Vegetarian, vegan or gluten free? We’ve got you covered. 

We’ve also got you covered if you’re a fan of roasts. Our signature carvery features slow-cooked meats roasted for up to 14 hours, which are accompanied by all the trimmings. It’s the perfect way to take the stress out of cooking a big meal any day of the week, while you can also order a carvery to take away if you prefer. 

You can choose to collect or have all your favourites on our menu delivered by Just Eat or Deliveroo. This includes our selection of kids’ meals, as well as the giant cakes and puddings we make in our kitchen. Quite simply, our desserts are not to be missed.

We’re only a short drive from the M1, so we’re in a great spot if you’re passing on the motorway and want to stop off for a hearty meal. Especially if you have an electric car, as we have an EV charging point in our car park. There’s plenty of parking if you’re coming from somewhere local too, while there’s also lots of space on our large outdoor terrace. 

Stepping inside our pub restaurant, you’ll be greeted by a cosy environment that’s ideal for families. We have an indoor play area with toys and games, which is right next to our family dining area so you can keep an eye on your little ones while they have their fun. We also have plenty of high chairs, free WiFi and disabled access.
