Looking for a place with great food and a welcoming atmosphere for all of the family? We’re talking about a little place called Waterfold Farm in Bury.
Lying on the bank of the River Roch with beautiful natural scenery stretching to the north, our pub restaurant is just on the outskirts of town. We can’t wait to welcome you, so come and see us, sit down for some food, or hang by the bar.
Conveniently located for the M66 motorway that links to Manchester’s M60 ring road, we have a large car park with plenty of space – even for coaches. We’re about a mile from the famous Bury market and the town’s tram stop, which connects us with the rest of Greater Manchester.
Just across the river from Openshaw Park, there’s a lot more open space to explore in our local area. Whether you’re going for a stroll under the historic Roch Viaduct just a few hundred metres away, walking around Ashworth Reservoir, hiking through Cheesden Valley or climbing Knowl Hill, there are plenty of options nearby for working up your appetite.
Here in Bury, we’re well known for our black pudding, which forms part of our all day breakfast. We have a full breakfast menu you can order from before noon, while we also have a wide selection of kids’ meals and a dessert menu packed with delicious sweet treats – including epic slices of cake.
Our menu features all your favourite pub classics such as burgers, pies and fish and chips, while we also have lots of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Our portion sizes are generous to say the least, and this extends to our signature carvery. Go large with this if you’re particularly hungry, and get more of our slow-cooked meats, roast potatoes and Yorkshire puds.
