We love where we are in Grangetown. Our area’s known for its strong sense of community spirit, as well as charming green spaces such as Grange Gardens and Grangemoor Park. Our location is second to none too. We’re near the centre of Cardiff but comfortably away from the hustle and bustle of town, while we’re also close to the Vale and the Bay. 

Visiting the Welsh capital’s many cultural attractions, such as Cardiff Castle or the National Museum? Watching a game or show at the Principality Stadium? Going for a walk around the marina or setting your sights on the local countryside in the opposite direction? Whatever you’re up to before you visit us, make sure you arrive hungry. 

 

Classic pub food served in generous portions

We take pride in satisfying even the biggest appetites. Our food menu is packed with all the pub classics you want to see, including a selection of burgers, pies and fish and chips. From sharers and combos to grills, wraps and salads, we also have a selection of vegetarian and vegan options. 

There are some great choices on our menu, but our freshly prepared Carvery is hard to beat. You can take the hassle out of preparing a full roast with all the trimmings yourself, as you tuck into our 14-hour slow-roasted meats, Yorkshire puds and roasties. There’s a smaller version of our carvery on our kids’ menu, along with lots of other options to suit every taste. 

Our selection of desserts will also suit every taste. You may be taken aback by the size of some of the cakes we bake in our kitchen, but don’t worry – if you don’t have room then why not order your slice to take away. In fact, pretty much all of our menu is available as takeaway. 

 

Settle in and get comfortable

It’s our aim to create a home away from home while you’re with us. Whether you’re logging into our free WiFi or using our high chairs, we also have disabled facilities and an app you can use to order and pay for your food and drinks. 

Looking after families is our thing. We want you to be as comfortable as possible, but we also want your kids to have some fun. They can do this in our indoor play area, which is full of toys and games. If the sun’s out though, you may want to take things outside and enjoy a bite or drink in our spacious beer garden.
