Our pub restaurant is right on the edge of open countryside, just a stone’s throw from a host of natural spots. Perhaps you want to visit a nature reserve like Potteric Carr before coming to us, or you’re heading into town for a spot of shopping or sightseeing. Maybe you’re heading to the races at nearby Doncaster Racecourse. 

Taking your dog to Loversall Field to stretch their legs, watching the mighty Doncaster Rovers in action at the local football ground, or going for a stroll around the pretty lake next to the stadium? Whatever you’re doing, make sure you come to us with a big appetite for us to fill.

 

A menu to suit the whole family

We love serving up generous portions of food, which are as tasty as they are affordable. Our food menu is packed with options suitable for the whole family, including all the pub classics we know you want to see and plenty of non gluten containing, vegetarian and vegan choices. 

We believe our carvery is the best around. We slow-roast our meats for up to 14 hours, before carving it up in front of your eyes and serving it alongside all the trimmings. You can order from our breakfast menu if you’re coming to us before midday, while our kids’ meals cater for even the pickiest eaters. 

Make sure you all save some room for desert though, because our desserts include slices of cake that are taller than your head. Our in-house cake-a-tiers are experts at their craft, baking a spectacular selection of cakes, sponges and cheesecakes for you to choose between. These are available as takeaway – or cakeaway, if you will – along with all your other favourites on our menu, including our carvery.
