There are no prizes for guessing what our pub’s named after. But what do you know about Wallace’s Well? Did you know that William Wallace was said to drink from the well whenever he was in the area? Or that it’s close to the spot where the national hero was betrayed and handed over to English troops? Either way, the Wallace Well and Monument are both only a short stroll from our door. 

Whether that’s the reason you’re in town or you live round the corner, we’re also perfectly placed for a visit after you’ve been exploring Glasgow.
