Whatever your reason for visiting us, you can expect hearty food, good times and a warm welcome from the team at Chapelford Farm in Great Sankey.

 

Lots to see and do in and around Great Sankey

Only around a mile from the M62, we’re ideally placed if you want to jump off the motorway for a bite to eat. We’re also only a couple of miles west of Warrington’s centre, so we’re easy to get to after you head to town to go shopping, sightseeing or to watch the Warrington Wolves. 

Gulliver’s World is even closer still, with the fun-filled theme park less than half an hour’s walk from our door. Likewise the natural scenery of Sankey Valley Park and Airlift Hill, as well as the Trans Pennine Trail which you can pick up near the River Mersey for a walk or bike ride. There are so many ways to work up your appetite and your thirst before you come to us.

 

Ticking all your boxes

When you arrive at our pub restaurant, you’ll find everything you need to enjoy your stay. There’s plenty of parking if you’re driving, an outdoor terrace for sunny days and lots more seating inside. Our family dining section is next to our indoor play area, where your kids can help themselves to all our toys and games. 

Along with disabled access, free WiFi and plenty of high chairs, we have an app that you can use to order and pay from the comfort of your table. If you prefer to stay in the comfort of your own home, we also offer takeaway.

 

Properly priced pub food

We like to think our food menu represents us well. It’s down to earth and welcoming, packed with comforting pub classics that come in generous portions. Maybe nothing beats a burger for you, or there’s no other choice once you see some pies or fish and chips on the menu. 

Don’t be too hasty though, as our Carvery is hard to resist. It comes with 14-hour slow-roasted meats and all the trimmings, including Yorkshire puds, roasties and an array of veggies. 

If you’re bringing your little ones then there are lots of kids’ meals to choose between. You may want to try to keep them away from our dessert fridge before they get their main though, as they may struggle to think of anything other than our selection of freshly made puddings once they catch a glimpse.
