Lived in the Bristol area your whole life, recently moved here or just passing through? Whatever it is, and whatever your occasion, Winter Stream Farm in Hambrook is your go-to for hearty pub food. Close to the M4 where the motorway meets with both the M5 and M32, we’re as handy for a quick pitstop as we are for a lazy Sunday afternoon with the family. 

 

Perfectly placed on the outskirts of Bristol

Not familiar with Hambrook? Our village is only around six miles from the centre of Bristol, meaning we’re in the perfect spot for a visit after you’ve been exploring the city. And what a city it is. Exciting and packed with things to do, there are plenty of opportunities for shopping, sightseeing and much more in town. 

From Bristol Museum and Art Gallery to the city’s historic cathedral and the views from Brandon Hill, we also have one of the world’s most important ships moored up for good, Brunel’s SS Great Britain. However you plan to spend your time before or after your visit, we’ll make sure our welcoming pub restaurant is shipshape for your arrival.

 

Our Farmhouse is your house

We want you to feel like you’re in your home away from home while you’re with us. That’s why we’ve done our best to think of everything you’ll need while you’re here. As well as plenty of parking for the whole gang, we’ve also got a charge point for you to top up your electric vehicle if you need to. 

There’s free WiFi, disabled facilities and plenty of high chairs for you to use. When the weather’s nice, grab your drink and head outside to our spacious beer garden. Coming on a rainy day? You’ll find plenty of room indoors, along with a kids’ play area packed with toys and games. 

This is next to our family dining area, allowing you to settle in for the long haul – especially as you can use our app to order and pay. For those times you can’t make it in to see us in person, why not order your favourite meal as takeaway.

 

A food menu for every taste

Speaking of your favourite, there’s a good chance it’ll be our Carvery. Slow-cooked meats roasted for up to 14 hours take centre stage, although you can also choose a pie as your main. Then you’ll pile your plate high with an array of vegetables, Yorkshire puds, crispy roasties and all the trimmings. 

If you’d prefer something else, you’re spoilt for choice with our food menu. From burgers and fish and chips, to Hunter’s Chicken and Macaroni Cheese, you can also pick between a selection of vegetarian, vegan and non gluten containing options. Just make sure you save some space for dessert, as you won’t want to miss our huge slices of cake, freshly made puddings and ice cream parlour.
