Nuneaton has a pretty spectacular literary history! Groundbreaking 19th century novelist George Eliot was born and raised right here in Nuneaton. In fact, the name of our restaurant is a tribute to her famous novel, Middlemarch. But while the novel was described by Virginia Woolf as ‘for grown-up people’, its namesake inn is the ideal spot for people of all ages.
