Hitting our beer garden on a sunny day or taking refuge from the Yorkshire weather? Come rain or shine, Meadow Farm in Ecclesfield is your go-to for hearty food, a welcoming atmosphere and lots of family fun. 

Whether you’re looking for a new local, visiting the area or stopping off on a long journey, we’re conveniently located not far from Junction 35 of the M1 motorway. Our pleasant village of Ecclesfield lies on the outskirts of both Sheffield and Rotherham, right on the edge of the beautiful Peak District and without a mardy bum in sight.

We love where we are, and we’re sure you will too. Perhaps you’re scaling some of the local peaks or cycling around one of the nearby nature reserves. Maybe you’re exploring some of the neighbouring woods or venturing along the Blackburn Valley Trail with your dog. 

We’re surrounded by lots of stunning natural spots that are all well worth your time. They’re also ideal for working up your appetite, which it’s our job to fill once you walk through our doors. 

 

We’ve gone large with our menu and portions

Our food menu is packed with pub classics. All of our dishes are freshly prepared, and come in generous portions to satisfy your hunger – and your wallet. You’ll find everything from burgers and fish and chips to salads, wraps and a breakfast menu if you’re dining before midday. 

We don’t know how to put this, but our carvery is kind of a big deal. We slow-roast our meats and carve them in front of you, before serving them alongside all the trimmings. We also have an epic dessert menu where you can choose between our massive slices of homemade cakes, sponges and cheesecakes. Plus there are plenty of kids’ meals to please even the fussiest of eaters.

 

Plenty of room and fun, inside and out

If you are coming with youngsters, then you may like to sit in our family dining area. This is next to our kids’ play area, meaning you watch over your little ones while they have fun with all the toys and games. If you’d rather sit elsewhere, we can still bring you a high chair if you need one. 

We also have an outdoor play area next to our peaceful beer garden, which is right beside open fields and rolling countryside. Perfect for a relaxing drink when the weather’s nice, this is wheelchair friendly like the rest of our pub restaurant. It’s also great for enjoying a cold one while you wait for your takeaway order.
