Put on your Halloween costumes!
This holiday is all about spooky Halloween traditions and scary Halloween customs, and one of our favourite things to do is get dressed up in our extra-scary Halloween costumes! Spooky costumes are completely optional when it comes to celebrating Halloween at your local Farmhouse Inn, but we do encourage you to get creative with your costume if you're in the mood to join the fun!
Carve up a spooky pumpkin!
Did you know that the traditional vegetable to make Halloween lanterns was originally the turnip? These days we tend to use pumpkins which are much easier to carve. And we think they look absolutely fantastic with their spooky expressions and glowing lights!
Trick or treat!
Witches, werewolves and everything in between will be trick or treating on Halloween night, but here at Farmhouse Inns, we'll be tucking into something delicious from our dessert menu instead! Sweet treats and Halloween go together like Gomez and Morticia Addams, so tuck in and enjoy!
Eat, drink and be scary
Come on down with the family in fancy dress for a night to remember. Whether you love a vampire costume or a classic Frankenstein, we can’t wait to see it. And if Mum brings out those cat ears again this year, well that’s ok too! All in all, you can’t beat a family-friendly Halloween with us.
And we promise there’s nothing to fear about our pub grub. Our menus feature everyone’s favourite burgers with no scary surprises. We’ve got mixed grills for a real challenge and our signature carveries work just as well for Halloween as they do a classic Sunday roast.
