Our Ice Cream Parlour is packed full to the brim with smooth, rich ice cream in tons of delicious flavours like chocolate brownie, sticky toffee fudge and cookie dough. Where our ice cream comes from

Way before it arrives through our doors, the magic starts at the wonderful Beechdean Dairies, nestled in the heart of the Chiltern Hills. 

Beechdean Dairies was founded back in 1989 by Andrew and Susie Howard, two university sweethearts who met when they were both studying agricultural science. Susie’s farming family had already been producing top-quality milk for decades, so their new adventure seemed like a perfect next step! 

Beechdean has gone from strength to strength ever since, growing to become one of the UK’s top producers. Their dedication to quality is unmatched, and they now churn out up to 10,000 litres of the smoothest, creamiest ice cream per hour! 

And now, a mooment for the true stars of the story. Beechdean’s beloved Jersey cows, affectionately known as ‘the girls’, provide the rich, creamy milk that makes our ice cream so special. The girls are given the royal treatment, and you can taste the love and care in every scoop.

 

How the girls are pampered

The Beechdean girls are treated to the utmost TLC from morning to night. They sleep on comfy mattresses, ensuring they rest well every night, and are showered with love and affection. 

The girls live on a grazing farm, meaning they’re free to be outside as long as they like, enjoying the lush green grass. They have lots of space to wander to their heart’s content. Regular back scratches keep them relaxed and happy, and soothing music plays during milking time to create a calm atmosphere.

 

The result?

The result of all this pampering? Well, happy cows produce creamier, richer milk, perfect for tasty ice cream! 

Each sweet scoop is gluten-free, suitable for vegetarians, and free from artificial flavourings, colourings and additives. Taste the pure, indulgent goodness with every spoonful, knowing it's made with the finest, most lovingly produced ingredients.
