What makes us special

Rose Tree Farm Pub, Quedgeley

Looking for a pub restaurant on the outskirts of Gloucester? Your search ends at Rose Tree Farm in Quedgeley. We’re a few miles south of the city on the edge of the picturesque Cotswolds, close to the River Severn and with rolling countryside right on our doorstep.

You’ll find us just off the A38, not far from the M5. Whether you’re looking to break up a long journey with a hearty meal or you’ve lived in Quedgeley all your life, we’re looking forward to your visit.

Hats off to Gloucester

Did you know that Gloucester used to be famous for its hat making? From the 1500s until the 20th century, we had numerous hat factories and our bowlers, bonnets, trilbies and titfers were exported around the world. One of the reasons we did so well on the international market was because we’re a port city. In fact, we’re one of the most inland ports in the UK.

It’s not just our river waters that’ve served us well though. Gloucester became known as a spa town in the 18th century, and some of our old spa buildings contribute to the area’s beautiful architecture. Gloucester Cathedral is included in that, which has stood proudly just up Bristol Road from us for almost a thousand years.

Bring your appetite – and we’ll fill it

Perhaps you’re visiting the cathedral first, climbing nearby Robinswood Hill or going for a gentle stroll around Kingsway Manor Farm Park. Whatever it is, make sure you come to us hungry. Our extensive food menu is packed with pub classics and our portions are generous to say the least.

There’s something for everyone, including on our breakfast menu. If you love your Sunday roasts, our carvery is not to be missed. You can even order this as a takeaway if you like, along with pretty much the rest of our menu. This includes our kids’ meals, non gluten containing options, vegetarian and vegan options, as well as our epic slices of cake and sponge.

We tick all your boxes

If you’re staying to dine with us and the weather’s nice, you may want to sit outside in our beer garden. We’ve got plenty of seating indoors come rain or shine, including in our family dining area. Our kids’ play area is right next to this, so you can keep an eye on your little ones while they make the most of all the toys and games.

Wherever you sit, you can log into our free WiFi to stay connected. There are some plug sockets you’re welcome to use, as well as our high chairs. We have disabled facilities if you need them, while there’s plenty of parking for you and anyone else who’s joining you.

We can’t wait to welcome you and your family to our pub restaurant, so click this link to book your table now.
