We’ve teamed up with Absolute Radio to celebrate and reward all the hardworking parents and unsung parenting heroes out there on designated pushchair driver duty.

We know too well that someone has to take responsibility to get your little one back to sleep when out, and often whilst watching everyone else tucks into their delicious plate of carvery! So what better reward than enjoying the sweet taste of our homemade cake on the house!

Andy Bush from Absolute Radio’s Hometime Show, said

“As a dad I know first-hand how frustrating it can be when you’re given the role of designated pushchair driver – pacing around a carpark whatever the weather, trying to get your baby to go to sleep. This is why we put a call out for pubs and restaurants to get involved and support our cause. We’re thrilled to be able to join forces with Farmhouse Inns dining and carvery to be able to celebrate the ‘guardians of the pushchair’ and give them a special little treat to make up for missing out dinner time with friends and family.”

Simply state you’re on ‘designated pushchair driver’ duty

To claim your slice of consolation for an interrupted dinner, parents simply need to state they are the ‘designated pushchair driver’ when ordering a main meal in between 21st January – 13th February 2019.

In exchange, you’ll receive a slice of one of our unique cakes, all lovingly crafted and baked in pub by our talented Cake-a-tiers and available to Cakeaway too!
