What makes us special

Applewood Farm Pub, Worsley

Applewood Farm in Worsley welcomes you to our pleasant little corner of Salford. We love our leafy village in Greater Manchester, and we can’t wait to see you here. Whatever your occasion, morning, noon or night, our friendly team is ready to look after you.

All over it in Worsley

Born in Leeds but raised in Salford, football commentator Kenneth Wolstenholme is one of Worsley’s most famous sons. His iconic commentary during England’s World Cup victory in 1966 is etched into British culture: “Some people are on the pitch. They think it’s all over...It is now.”

You won’t need to worry about ghost goals, own goals or offsides when you visit us though. We think you’ll be very much onside with what we have to offer. This is because we’ve got everything you need for a great meal with your family, relaxing evening with friends or even just a quick breakfast before work.

Taking care of your whole family

Worsley is known for its cotton, coal mining, iron-working and brick-making, and now you can add family dining to that list. We have a spacious beer garden and an outdoor playground for your kids to make the most of when the weather holds up. If it doesn’t, we’ve got a space indoors for them to play with all of our toys and games. Either way, you can look forward to a fun-filled afternoon with your kids.

From free WiFi and plug sockets to disabled access, plenty of parking and even space for coaches, you can even take advantage of our electric car charging facilities if you need to. We also have an app that you can use to order and pay for your food and drinks from the comfort of your table.

A food menu full of options

It may take some time to pick from our food menu, which is packed with pub classics like hunter’s chicken, lasagne and macaroni cheese, as well as our burgers, pies and fish and chips. Then there’s our freshly prepared carvery. Available in a range of sizes, our slow-roasted meats, handmade yorkies and crispy roasties will set your mouth watering and tongue wagging.

We have a comprehensive kids’ menu featuring our Pick ’N’ Mix section for sides and veggies, while we also have a selection of vegetarian, vegan and non gluten containing options for all ages. Just make sure you save some space for afters, because you won’t want to miss out on the epic puddings made in our kitchen.

Can’t stay and eat with us? No problem. We offer takeaway and delivery, so you can either come and join us for a drink while you wait for your food, or order from home. We would of course prefer it if you can stay so we can look after you ourselves, but sometimes you can’t beat being at home.

Think it’s all over? Book now!
